Privacy Policy

Technext ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how our mobile application IPTV Player handles your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We firmly believe in data minimization and user privacy. For core playback functionalities, IPTV Player does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

• We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account profiles.
• We do not track your location or device advertising IDs directly outside of integrated third-party advertising frameworks.

2. Local Data Storage & Credentials

The application operates entirely client-side on your device.

• Local Storage Only: All playlist URLs, Xtream Codes server addresses, usernames, passwords, custom favorites, watch history, and local parental control PIN codes entered by you are stored 100% locally on your Android device inside a secure Room database and local application preferences.
• No Cloud Transmission: Your credentials, login tokens, and playlist configurations are never uploaded to developer-owned servers, third-party databases, or shared with any external entity.
• Data Deletion: You can completely clear and delete all stored local data at any time by clearing the app's storage data through your Android device settings or by uninstalling the application.

3. Advertising and Ad Networks

To keep our app free or subsidized for future updates, we may use third-party advertising networks and mediation partners to serve relevant advertisements. These partners may use cookies, device identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID or IDFA), and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your interactions with this App and other apps to provide targeted or contextual ads.

Our advertising and mediation partners include:

• Google AdMob
• Meta Audience Network
• Pangle (ROW)
• Pangle (US)
• Liftoff (incl. Vungle)
• ironSource Ads
• Unity Ads

Each of these third-party partners operates under its own privacy policy. You can click on any network above to review their respective policies.

4. Direct Streaming Connection

When you load a stream or playlist URL, your device connects directly to your chosen IPTV content provider or server. We do not intercept, route, or monitor your streaming traffic.

5. App Permissions

The application requests only the minimum permissions required for core functionality:

• INTERNET: Required to download your playlist catalogs and fetch video/audio streams directly from the servers you specify.
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to monitor connection stability and automatically attempt to recover playback if your network drops.

6. Children’s Privacy & User-Generated Content

IPTV Player is a media player utility that provides access to unmoderated, user-supplied content and playlists. Because users may load third-party playlists containing diverse programming, we strongly recommend that parents and guardians utilize the app's local parental control PIN features to restrict access to mature categories. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

7. Security

Because sensitive playlist data remains strictly on your local device hardware, your information is protected by your device’s built-in operating system security architecture.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any modifications will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
